I recommend lessons with Jackson. He’s a very patient and kind teacher that puts a lot of stress on safety, which made me feel safe and secure as a total beginner.

Jackson is a passionate and caring instructor. I enjoyed my time kite training with him as he is always patient with my mistakes. He is genuine and forgiving to beginners like myself who constantly make the simplest mistakes possible. Overall, I would highly recommend everyone who is adventurous to try out kitesurfing and it is probably the most cool thing to do at East Coast Park. And yupp, do look for Jackson, he is the man who you wanna be with to start your kiting journey!

From the start Jackson’s lessons were personalised and had an underlying focus of safety. When we first met I told him my experience and we went from there. He taught me how to control the kite and the basics on land before getting into the water. His equipment catered to all conditions and was of high quality. Using the radio headsets was very useful once I became more confident. This enables constant feedback when riding. Throughout the lessons he had a focus and was driven for me to succeed in grasping the skills. He is a well known face in the kitesurfing community and even when lessons are over, he will still give advice. He has supported me since leaving the county in kite surfing related questions.
